Rodrigo's Space

I had been playing/working with beta versions for a while and liked a lot of the things i have seen.  With the launch of the final version this week I installed it on most of my machines at home.

First impressions is, yay!  its much faster than i experienced with the previous versions. The debugger is awesome, the new IE DEV tools are great and much much fasters then the other versions i used.  Overall i am happy with it, and will put it on the rest of my machines this weekend.

Now i started to play with some of the new things. WebSlices, the idea is neat, and though lets see ill see how they work and maybe make one.   well i can’t get most of them to work.  i keep getting this

Playing around some more with soapbox today.  Trying out to see how different videos get uploaded and displayed.

Kept on having issues with Outlook connector no syncing my Windows Live Calendars.
It was pointed out to me to check my Send/Receive groups, and sure enough mine had some odd settings.  I have a really unique set up for them, and forgot that i had turned some of them off a while ago. Turned them back on, and now they work fine.

Too bad i can’t see my events from WLC on my Upcoming events pane. Perhaps in W4.

Spent some time getting all my live services in order the past few days, and i really like it.
its quite amazing how well they all flow together. Sure there are some rough edges, by and large though, it really gels.

Have the girls up here this weekend and we had a picnic with the Figueroa’s today, it turned out great! Gorgeous weather out in Orinda. here are some photos.

Took the weekend and went to Disneyland with my Girlfriend and her 2 nieces, Hanna (5 Yo) and Ruby (3 Yo).

We drove down Friday day, and picked the girls up from VAFB, drive down to LA that night. It was raining just about the entire drive to LA.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, it was a easy to get to and easy to park at.

Had breakfast with the characters at Goofy’s kitchen and then headed to the park.  I put some pictures so check them out.

We had a total blast!  It was just incredible to spend the day with the girls, and sped 3 days road tripping with Joy.
